The meta, explained

Speed barely moves. Acceleration does.

Every stat becomes a level from 0 to 25. The game then looks that level up in a multiplier table. Some tables barely change from level 0 to 25. Others more than double. That spread, together with what the best players actually pick, is the meta.

How far each stat can move

Multiplier range across all 480 driver–vehicle pairings, road terrain. ×1.00 is neutral.

  • Possible range
  • Your combo

Each ratio scales a different base value inside the game, so a ×2 here and a ×1.04 there are not the same seconds on the clock. The spread shows where combos differ most.

Coins pay light builds first

The speed bonus from coins, by coins held. Every combo reaches the same +5% at 20 coins. Coin speed bends the curve, so it decides how soon you get there.

    2

    Coins pay light builds first

Everyone gets the same bonus at 20 coins. Coin speed decides how early it arrives: at 5 coins the best combo already has +3.0%, the worst +0.6%.

    Speed is three stats

Road, off-road and water speed are separate stats. Baby Blooper is +2 on road but −3 off-road and on water.
